Things to do in Charleston, South Carolina

Hey dolls! This year I want to incorporate a little bit of travel into the blog so the first place I want to talk about is Charleston, South Carolina.

We were down there for a few months while Lexi was at MUSC and I got a lot of questions about the city so I wanted to share a few favorites with you. I hope you’re all having a great week so far!  Since we have been down there for so long and of course we have been there before, I would share five of our favorite things to do and places in Charleston with you!

Shop on King Street. If you know anything about Charleston, then you probably have heard of King Street. There are so many wonderful shops there, as well as many of my favorite ones: Louis Vuitton, Club Monaco, Pottery Barn, and Kids on King. The beautiful scenery around you is enough to make you want to go shopping.

Eat at Halo Cafe. This place is right across the street from MUSC and oh my goodness it is amazing. They have yummy breakfast, sandwiches, and delicious coffee.

Go to the Farmer’s Market. If the weather is nice you have to check out the farmer’s market on King Street. They have fresh veggies, flowers, locally made goods, and coffee.

Walk around Rainbow Row. I am sure if you heard of Charleston, then you heard of Rainbow Row. The houses are so gorgeous with the arrangement of colors. You will see blue, pink, purple, and green homes; maybe I can talk the husband into painting our home pink?

Eat at Monza. If you are looking for a pizza that doesn’t involve the typical cheese and pepperoni, then this is the place to go. My favorite is one with that has mozzarella, prosciutto, and arugula. So delicious.

So there you have it. For the most part, all of these things are downtown or close to it, so it is easy to fit in a lot on a short trip. Please let me know if you have any questions.
